To The Corner Cupboard Inn from The Washington, DC/Baltimore area:

Take Route 50 East across the Bay Bridge ($2.50 Toll). Shortly after the bridge Rt. 50 and Rt. 301 split - stay to the right on Rt. 50. Take Route 404 East (at the stoplight). Follow this past Denton , MD. Take a left onto Route 16 East (you will pass 16 West before 16 East). At the Stop sign and flashing light, take a left and continue on Rt. 16 East. You will pass through several small towns ( Greenwood , Ellendale). Take a right on Route 1 South at the stoplight.

Upon entering the Lewes/Rehoboth area take Exit 1A ( left hand exit ) off of Route 1. Follow Rehoboth Ave , Ext. for several blocks crossing a small canal bridge. At the Circle, go three quarters around it to

Columbia Avenue passing in front of The Royal Farms convenience store. Follow Columbia Avenue for 7 blocks. Make a right turn onto 2 nd Street . Go one block and make a left onto Park Avenue . We are in the middle of the block on the right hand side.

Follow the Jersey Turnpike South to the Delaware Memorial Bridge . Follow signs to Route 13 South ( Dover ). (Between Wilmington and Dover stay on the Rt. 1 Bypass - $1.00 Toll). South of Dover the highway will turn into Route 113. At Milford it will turn into Route 1 South. Always follow the signs to “Shore Points”.

Follow Route 1 North through Bethany, and Dewey Beach. At Dewey take Exit 1A towards Rehoboth Beach . Cross the small bridge over Silver Lake . This will be Bayard. At the stoplight, continue straight crossing Rehoboth Avenue and following what is now 2 nd Street . At the Stop Sign, turn right on Olive Ave. ; then left at the Stop Sign onto First Street . Continue over the small bridge over Lake Girar following the road to the right. At the North end of the Boardwalk, the road curves to the left continuing parallel to the beach and is now Surf Ave. From this point, go three blocks and make a left onto Park Avenue . We are one and a half blocks from the Beach on the South side of the street.
